Beechcraft King Air A90

Our turbine survey aircraft is a Beechcraft King Air 65A90. The A90 is a twin engine turbine aircraft which is extremely safe and reliable. The aircraft is magnetically clean and has an extended tail-stinger and dual extended wing-tip pods. The separation between the wing tip pods is 16.3 m and the tail stinger is 10.4 m back. Typical survey sorties are 4.5 to 5 hours in duration. A double walled stainless steel internal tank is available for extended range giving survey times of 6.5 to 7 hours. The aircraft is fully IFR capable and is equipped with full anti/de-ice technology, which has been certified by the FAA for flight into known icing conditions and has a remarkable record of reliability in icing conditions.

An elaborate and modern instrument and avionics package comes standard with the King Air. There are two full sets of flight instruments including dual attitude and directional gyros, dual airspeed indicators and altimeters, dual vertical speed indicators, and dual turn and bank indicators. The avionics package includes a Garmin GPS-530, which is a state-of-the-art global positioning system that is very user friendly and provides the pilot with excellent situational awareness. Also are dual glide slope / localizer receivers, two VHF communication / navigation radios, dual audio selection panels, one low frequency receiver, dual transponders, Bendix King-KFC-250 flight director and autopilot (IFR certified, 3-axis autopilot) and a traffic collision avoidance system.

The King Air is owned and operated by Dynamic Aviation Group, Inc. of Bridgewater, Virginia, USA.
